What we collect

Parents: phone number (to sign in) and a display name. Children: first name or nickname, age as a whole number, boy or girl, and an optional photo. No birthdates, last names, location, contacts or advertising identifiers.

What we do not do

We do not sell data, show ads, or track you across other apps. Children never sign in.

AI features

When you use the growth log or questions helper, the text you write plus your child’s first name and age are sent to Azure OpenAI in Microsoft Foundry, inside our own Azure subscription, to generate a suggestion. It is not used to train any model.

Who else handles your data

We use a short list of processors, each only for the job named:

• Twilio (USA) — sends and checks your sign-in code. Receives your phone number.
• Microsoft Azure (USA) — hosting, database, photo storage, and the AI features above. Holds everything in the app.
• Expo push service (USA), then Apple and Google push — deliver notifications to the other parents’ phones. They receive a push token and one fixed, neutral line (“New activity logged”). Children’s names are never in a notification; the app fetches the detail itself.

Deleting your data

Delete your account any time in the app (Family → Delete account) or at noorture.com/delete-account. Your sign-in and your devices go immediately. If you are the last parent in the family, your children’s profiles, photos, activity, rewards and growth-log notes are deleted in the same moment — not queued for a later job. If a co-parent or caregiver is still in the family, the family stays and only your own account is removed.
